CLAYSS at the Conference on Service-Learning in Spain, hosted by Jesuit Universities

On 16th and 17th June, the "Jornadas UNIJES de Aprendizaje-Servicio [UNIJES day-conference on service-learning]," a meeting that brought together all the universities and higher education centres of the Jesuit University network, took place in Comillas, Spain. The inauguration was attended by Antonio España, SJ, Provincial Head of the Society of Jesus in Spain; Enrique Sanz Giménez-Rico, SJ, Rector of Comillas; Gonzalo Villagrán, SJ, UNIJES Deputy Delegate, and Idoia Irigaray, Director of Deusto Campus in San Sebastián, who, together with Carlos Prieto of Comillas Solidaria, coordinated the event and the organising team.
Nieves Tapia, founder and director of CLAYSS, was the keynote speaker with a presentation entitled "Construyendo universidades coherentes y articuladas a través del aprendizaje-servicio [Building coherent universities and interconnected through service-learning]."
