CLAYSS was present at the 2022 Global Forum on "Higher Education Leadership for Democracy, Sustainability, and Social Justice" in Ireland

On 16th and 17th June, at St. Patrick's Campus, the Dublin City University welcomed more than 120 participants around the world. Enrique Ochoa, executive director of CLAYSS, participated in the closing conference of the forum. The closing plenary session revolved around the question "What deeper and new relationships need to be built with our local communities, especially those most devastated by the pandemic and its aftermath, in light of persistent inequalities?"
The panel moderator was Ryan Feeney, Director of Public Engagement, Queen's University Belfast, with comments by Katherine Conway-Turner, President of Buffalo State College; Martina Darmanin, President of the European Students' Union; Enrique Ochoa, Executive Director of CLAYSS; David Maurrasse, President of Marga, Inc. and Director of the Anchor Institutions Task Force; and Andrew Montague, former Lord Mayor of Dublin.

The 2022 Global Forum on "Higher Education Leadership for Democracy, Sustainability, and Social Justice" by the Council of Europe in cooperation with the International Association of Universities, the International Consortium for Higher Education, Civic Responsibility and Democracy and the Organisation of American States (OAS) on 16th and 17th June, at Dublin City University, St. Patrick's Campus, in Drumcondra, Dublin, Ireland.
