Winners of the "Stories that Transform 2022" Contest

CLAYSS team for the Service-Learning in the Arts Programme met with the jury of the "Stories that Transform" Award to define the winning projects of this edition, which called for institutions of all levels in Latin America. Projects should be creatively published on social media and follow the established guidelines. In this third edition, 43 solidarity educational institutions from all levels and educational modalities in Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Honduras, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Uruguay) participated with 52 service-learning experiences. The first prize winner gets USD 1000 (one thousand dollars); the second prize, USD 800 (eight hundred dollars); the third prize, USD 650 (six hundred and fifty dollars); and each of the three honourable mentions gets USD 550 (five hundred and fifty dollars). 

First Prize:
Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Saint-Hilaire (Rio Grande, Brazil)
Experience: Garotas de Vermelho: um mapa da menstruação a partir da voz das gurias [Ladies in Red: a map of menstruation from the girls' opinions]- Level: Primary
 

Second Prize:
Lenguaje Visual 3 [Visual Language 3]' Chair, School of Arts, National University of La Plata, (Buenos Aires, Argentina)
Experience: Libros Ilustrados Solidarios LV3 [Solidarity illustrate books] - Level:  University
 

Third Prize:
Technical Education Centre No. 2 (Río Negro, Argentina)
Experience: A.M.A.R. en la escuela [L.O.V.E. in the school] - Level: Secondary school
 

Honourable mentions (no merit order)
●    Providencia Educational Establishment (Montevideo, Uruguay)
