Closing of the call for papers for the Service-Learning Researchers' Symposium

Hosted by the Latin American Center for Service-Learning (CLAYSS) and University of Buenos Aires (UBA, in its acronym in Spanish), with the support of la OEI and in collaboration with the Ibero-American Service-Learning Network (REDIBAS, ins its acronym in Spanish), Uniservitate and IARSLCE, the 6th edition of the Service-Learning Researchers' Symposium had a positive effect among those interested.
There were 78 research papers submissions in total from 15 countries:  Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Germany, Italy, Kenya, Kenya, Mexico, Peru, the Philippines, Poland, South Africa, the United States and Uruguay.
The specialists developed their works based on one of the central themes that CLAYSS proposed:  1.- Discussions and theoretical contributions, 2.- Institutional programmes based on service-learning and 3.- Case studies and systematisation of service-learning programmes and practices, the latter being the most chosen.

In June, the authors will get an email with the evaluation of their presentations and will be able to register to participate in the symposium. It is scheduled for Wednesday, 23rd August, in the lecture hall of the Faculty of Dentistry of the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA, in its acronym in Spanish).
Those interested can register from Monday 26th June here. This is an onsite, fee-based activity.
