Launching of the 8th Edition of the Solidarity Education Contest in Uruguay

On 25th September, the launching of the Solidarity Education Contest, was organized online through CLAYSS YouTube channel. The meeting was attended by Lucila Leis, President of CLAYSS Uruguay, Enrique Ochoa, Executive Director of CLAYSS, Sandra Rodríguez, Director of the OEI Office (Organization of Ibero-American States) in Uruguay and Gonzalo Baroni, Director of Education (Ministry of Education and Culture in Uruguay, MEC). This Contest, which is already celebrating its eighth edition, is a CLAYSS initiative in agreement with the Education Directorate of the MEC, ANEP (National Administration of Public Education), OEI in Uruguay and El Chajá Civil Association. The call is open for submissions on solidarity educational experiences led by students, developed in Educational Institutions, that encourages meaningful learning and provide a service to the community to respond to its real needs.
