Provincial Meeting of Solidarity Schools in Mendoza, Argentina

On 10th November, the 5th Solidarity Schools Meeting was heldonline. The opening of this important educational meeting included the Director-General for Schools, José Thomas; the Undersecretary of Education, Graciela Orelegio; the Director of Secondary Education, Emilio Moreno; the National reference of Jurisdictions of the Solidarity Education Programme of the Directorate of Inclusion and Educational Extension, Belén Chaparro; the Policy Coordinator for Social Inclusion of the Ministry of Education of Tucumán, Pablo Sosa; the reference of Solidarity Education of the province of Chaco, Sergio Ojeda; Mendoza Solidarity Schools coordinator Elizabeth Torralba; DGE cabinet members and regional delegates.
During the day, there were 
seven interactive student chat-rooms with different topics, and more than 70 schools from Mendoza participated, in addition to other schools from Tucumán and Chaco. The students exchanged their experiences and introduced theirservice-learning projects.
The meeting included a series of webinars with distinguished referent figures, such as Alejandro Gimelli (CLAYSS), who delivered the conference in Spanish "Aprendizaje y Servicio Solidario: una pedagogía para superar el dilema entre calidad e inclusión [Service-Learning: a pedagogy to overcome the dilemma between quality and inclusion]".
