Universities in South Africa promote the creation of a National Service-Learning Network

On 30th October, South African universities met to develop a National service-learning network, based on the initiative of the South African Higher Education Community Engagement Forum (SAHECEF). The organization was in charge of the School of Education (College of Humanities) of the University of Kwazulu-Natal, and almost 40 representatives across the country participated. Luz Avruj (CLAYSS), introduced CLAYSS experience to develop and strengthen networks around the world while describing the Ibero-American and Central and Eastern Europe Networks as emblematic examples.
