Meeting of the service-learning networks of Argentina and Uruguay to present the first comparative research on the SL policies of both countries

On14th July, the publication of the research "Procesos de instalación del aprendizaje-servicio solidario en las políticas públicas. El caso de Argentina y Uruguay [Processes of service-learning implementation in public policies. The meeting was coordinated by Alejandra Catibiela, coordinator of the Uruguay programme and Marianela Fernández Villa, coordinator of CLAYSS Uruguay, and had more than 60 participants from various locations in Argentina and Uruguay. The work was presented by its compiler, Nieves Tapia, the binational team of researchers: Dr. Daniel Giorgetti, Dr. Javier Lasida and Mag. Felipe Migues. At the end of the formal presentation of the book, members of the Service-Learning Network of Uruguay and the brand-new Argentine Service-Learning Network shared a warm exchange on the lessons learned from the research and on possible joint actions in the future.
