CLAYSS in Cutervo, Peru

The Educational Institutions Fe y Alegría No. 69 "San Viator", in Cutervo, Peru, invited CLAYSS to participate in an internal day conference. The teachers meeting centred around students as protagonists in the service-learning (SL) experiences. During the meeting, which took place on 3rd August, María Rosa Tapia made a presentation that linked service-learning to "The ladder of participation," by Roger Hart—the author that the 50 teachers and school authorities present had previously read. After that, María Rosa Tapia answered questions, an exchange both enriching and challenging for the whole group.
