CLAYSS will be part of the Talloires Network Leaders Conference

The Talloires Network Leaders Conference (TNLC2021) will be held online from Thursday, 30th September to Sunday, 3rd October 2021. The event brings together universities, non-profits organizations and community leaders worldwide. The TNLC2021 call is jointly hosted on the virtual campuses of Tufts University's Tisch College of Civic Life and the Institute of Politics at Harvard Kennedy School.

The welcome session will be devoted to discussing the contribution of universities to address climate change, with the participation of John Kerry, the former U.S. Secretary of State,  and the comment of an international panel of specialists, including Nieves Tapia, the Director of CLAYSS.

The conference workshops and plenary sessions will deal with the topic "Global Institutions, Local Impact", exploring how universities may contribute to a healthier, safer and more sustainable world and ways to assess and strengthen their impact.
CLAYSS will participate actively in this great event! We will host two sessions: "Service-Learning Before, During and After the Covid-19 Pandemic" and "Strengthening Regional Networks as a Strategy for Empowerment and Movement Building." Colleagues from Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe and other parts of the world will participate in both of them.

The audience will be able to participate in critical reflections and discussions, exchange ideas, and contribute to the efforts regarding strategic planning. For further information, please visit: https://talloiresnetwork.tufts.edu/tnlc2021-boston-2/
