The service-learning week brought together five universities from Africa

On 8th, 9th and 10th September, the "Service-learning week" was hosted by Tangaza University (Kenya), the regional hub of the Uniservitate Programme in Africa, with the active participation of Mwenge Catholic University (Tanzania), University of Kisubi (Uganda), Université Catholique de l'Afrique Centrale (Cameroon) and Loyola University (Congo)

This meeting of utmost importance for the region brought together managers, educators and students from different institutions to share experiences, discuss and debate the importance of implementing the service-learning pedagogy in higher education and its contribution to integral education.
Under the motto "The role of service-learning and its impact during the peak of the pandemic," the agenda included several activities and panels with specialists who shared their vast experience and opened dialogue emphasizing their service-learning views, as well as points of inflexion and opportunities for its implementation in a context of the pandemic.
Young students also had their space, the true protagonists of the shared experiences.
