CLAYSS Uruguay and the Global Learning Network held the first inter-institutional and territorial articulation meeting
On 13th August, the advisors from the Global Learning Network and tutors from CLAYSS Uruguay met to work and exchange ideas. The meeting summoned 21 CLAYSS Uruguay tutors working in educational centres throughout the country this year and 31 advisors of the Global Network who accompany more than 700 centres throughout Uruguay.
During the meeting, the teacher and researcher, Lucía Notari, made a presentation on the experience "Huellas de la buena convivencia [Traces of good coexistence]," a project awarded in the Solidarity Education Contest 2019. It addressed the integration between service-learning and deep learning that methodologically guides the work of the Global Network. The alliance emerged from the clear intention of spreading knowledge in the territory, considering synergies fieldwork—especially in centres where both organizations support projects—and promoting the inclusion of the SL pedagogy to the work of those centres that have not included it yet.
