5th Latin American Meeting "Service-Learning in the Arts" in Buenos Aires

The meeting was an exclusive day-conference for scholarship holders from institutions in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Peru, accompanied by the CLAYSS Support Programme "Solidarity Service-Learning in the Arts." The video —available here— compiles the first part of the day: the welcoming words by CLAYSS and OEI authorities and the presentation by Pablo Daniel Buján Matas, coordinator of the programme. Afterwards, there was a presentation of the service-learning projects from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Peru. Alejandra Catibiela, from CLAYSS' team, then commented on the experiences.
It was a real opportunity to interchange and debate with the 65 representatives of institutions from the countries mentioned above who attended the day-conference. Besides educators and researchers, civil servants and specialists interested in the connection between service-learning and arts education were also present. The meeting took place on Wednesday, 24th August, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Organization of Ibero-American States, Argentina, in the context of the International Service-Learning Week.
