The National Solidarity Education Program Team of the National Ministry

The Team met with the evaluators for the First Regional Service-Learning Award in Central and Eastern Europe

While making progress on the process of evaluating the applications received for the Regional Service-Learning Award, the evaluators from the six participating European countries discussed, shared experiences, questions and concerns with Gabriela Hillar, Coordinator of the Presidential Award “Solidarity Schools”, in the Solidarity Education National Programme of the National Ministry of Education. The Presidential Award “Solidarity Schools” is an Argentine programme supported by the Argentine Ministry of Education, where each school has been reporting its successful practices for 20 years, which in turn encourages SL as a pedagogy.

The First Regional Award for Successful Service-Learning Practices was launched in May this year through CLAYSS, the International Association "Interactive Open Schools" (MIOS) and the partners of the Service-Learning Network for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE SL Network).
