CLAYSS participates in the VIII Service-Learning Seminar 2020 organized by the Chilean National Service-Learning Network (REASE)

It was held online, through ZOOM platform, on19th and 26th November. The Seminar offered activities throughout the week, synchronously and asynchronously, that allowed attendees to review experiences, exchange opinions, and generate links. This time "Inequality in times of crisis" was the central topic. Enrique Ochoa, Executive Director of CLAYSS, was part of the award committee to evaluate the works received during the VIII Service-Learning 2020, organized by REASE. Winners of the First Solidarity Learning National Award in Brazil

Intended for schools, universities and civil society organizations, the First Solidarity Learning Award in Brazil received a total of 223 projects, of which 33 were selected as finalists. The projects, from 14 states in all regions of the country, were evaluated to choose the winners. On 26th November, the names of the winning institutions, which will receive financial and training support to continue or expand their actions, were announced on social media and the CENPEC website (https://www.cenpec.org.br/premio-aprendizagem-solidaria). 2nd International Solidarity Learning Seminar in Brazil finished

The Aprendizagem Solidária Brazilian Network, CENPEC Educacao, the Instituto Singularidades and CLAYSS carried out this Seminar for the entire educational community. Its goal was to provide the education community with an opportunity to discuss, reflect and present solidarity learning activities and projects. The Seminar was held online during five weekly meetings, on Saturdays in November, and on 5th December (closing), with national and international specialists. Prof. Nieves Tapia (Director), Enrique Ochoa (Executive Director) and María Luna (Brazil Programme Coordinator) participatedin different meetings representing CLAYSS. The sixth edition of the Spanish "Service-Learning Award" continues to support more and more projects

On Tuesday 3rd November, the jury met online to select the winners of the sixth edition of the "Service-Learning Award" organized by the SL Spanish Network, Edebé and the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training. After a highly successful call, 20 projects were awarded, from 330 subscriptions and more than 500 schools and social entities. XIII Spanish State Meeting on Service-Learning

On 11th December, the "XIII Spanish State Meeting on Service-Learning Cáceres 2020" was held online. It is celebrated in a different city each year to promote SL from the territory and the community as well. The Spanish Service-Learning Network, Edebé and the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training supported this initiative, and City council of Cáceres was the host for this edition. Public and private entities from all over the Spanish State and the Extremadura community collaborated. The ceremony of Service-Learning Award 2020and the annual network meeting also took place within the framework of this State Meeting. More information (in Spanish):
