The future of community engagement in European higher education

The TEFCE project organized two expert panels in October 2021, to mark the end of the TEFCE project and pave the way for the next steps of our follow-up Steering Higher Education for Community Engagement (SHEFCE) project (www.shefce.eu). The panel discussions took place under the joint title The future of community engagement in European higher education. The first panel provided perspectives of stakeholders in Europe that have been developing new networks, initiatives and frameworks (Council of Europe; Campus Engage) to further advance this agenda; while the second panel provided perspectives of policymakers (European Commission) and European-level university associations (EUA y EURASHE).
