More than 500 people joined the 20th International Service-Learning Week

Once again, Buenos Aires welcomed colleagues, researchers, students and the general public interested in education and service-learning. During a busy week with activities scheduled by CLAYSS, 500 people —including 150 foreigners from 21 countries— shared their experiences, research and projects during different opportunities specially prepared.

The schedule included visits to service-learning projects, the meeting of the Ibero-American Service-Learning Network (REDIBAS , in its acronym in Spanish) in the Leopoldo Marechal Hall of the National Ministry of Education, the Service-learning Researchers' Symposium (JIAS, in its acronym in Spanish) in the main hall of the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Buenos Aires —where there was a presentation of the selected works —, and the 26th International Service-Learning Conference in the San Agustín lecture hall of the Catholic University of Argentina.

Every year, this free Conference offered panels and lectures by specialists in service-learning and workshops on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) —this edition's main topic. It also included the Solidarity Youth Meeting, with around 70 participants, and the Service-Learning in the Arts Meeting, where participants shared their experiences and debated the state of arts education in Latin America, among other topics.

The videos of lectures and panels are now available on our YouTube channel in Spanish (@clayssdigital) and English (@uniservitate).
